We do this by deploying tools and techniques in terms that are palatable to a wide range of professionals, not just \u2018IT and change management people\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Our people are distinguished by their project management &amp; leadership abilities, their grit and the confidence that comes from experience of delivering many projects.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ptextbold\">What we\u2019re looking for:<\/span><br \/>Innovation are looking for a project support officer to run various activities across a complex project with an insurer.<br \/>The person will be part of the programme management office team and aid in the delivery by providing support with the development and maintenance of project processes, procedures and delivery artefacts.<br \/>To succeed in this role Innovation are looking for a person with a proactive approach and can-do attitude, someone with excellent communication skills who\u2019s comfortable collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver results on time.<br \/>Ultimately, the Project Support\u2019s duties are to ensure that all project activities are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ptextbold\">Accountabilities:<\/span><br \/>Role responsibilities highlighted below but not limited to: &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain project governance, processes and procedures, keeping the PMO manager aware of the project status<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with workstreams to capture requirements, scope, objectives and deliverables<\/li>\n<li>Work with each workstream to ensure compliance of project governance policies<\/li>\n<li>Internal project resource and stakeholder management engagements<\/li>\n<li>Collation and review of status reports, submissions and ad-hoc project requests<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of the CRAID logs (Change, Risk, Action, Issue, Dependency)<\/li>\n<li>Assist with project plan management, including milestone and dependency tracking<\/li>\n<li>Aid in the preparation of project budgets<\/li>\n<li>Point of contact for project related information or ad-hoc requests<\/li>\n<li>Maintain project documentation, plans and reports on SharePoint<\/li>\n<li>Organise key project meetings and provide secretariat support as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"ptextbold\">Requirements:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand the dimensions and tolerances of projects<\/li>\n<li>Understand Microsoft Project<\/li>\n<li>Understand change control<\/li>\n<li>Understand dependency management<\/li>\n<li>Previous work experience as a Project Support<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working in multiple project environments<\/li>\n<li>Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management<\/li>\n<li>Able to manage face-to-face and written communication<\/li>\n<li>A project management certification is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"ptextbold\">Behavioural Competencies: &#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail, motivated individual with a tenacious attitude<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, written &amp; verbal<\/li>\n<li>Ability to react to demanding and changing deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing senior stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Highly organised with the ability to identify and monitor items from multiple sources<\/li>\n<li>Ability to influence other parties to complete activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Innovation is a consultancy that delivers change at banks, insurers and investment firms.
