Project Manager<\/h3>\n

Summary:<\/p>\n

\n

Will be responsible for the managing large scale application development projects in various industry sectors including Public, Enterprise or BFSI.\u00a0 He \/ She will be involved in the overall project management of the system analysis and design stage and the system implementation and integration stage, covering the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).<\/p>\n

Background:<\/p>\n

The client is integrating a number of MPF platforms by private insurance providers into one digital MPF user interface. This is a privately managed, government funded programme.<\/p>\n

Primary responsibilities:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Lead a large-scale system implementation project from project initiation to project implementation and post live support.<\/li>\n
  2. Lead a team composing of onshore and offshore development resources and multiple sub-teams<\/li>\n
  3. Provide guidance to the team to complete the project milestones<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Personal attributes:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines<\/li>\n
    2. A minimum of 12 years experience in IT profession with minimum 5 years\u2019 experience in project management; preferably with solid profiles of managing large and complex system implementation projects<\/li>\n
    3. Possesses certification in PRINCE 2 or PMP<\/li>\n
    4. Working Knowledge of Test Methodologies and Tools<\/li>\n
    5. Proficient in using Microsoft Project<\/li>\n
    6. Experienced in managing virtual teams, adopting best practices of Global Delivery Model<\/li>\n
    7. Experienced in Government projects will be an advantage<\/li>\n
    8. Development experience in financial systems and\/or working experience in financial institutions will be\u00a0an added advantage<\/li>\n
    9. Effective verbal and written communication in English and Chinese;<\/li>\n
    10. Good leadership, analytical, inter-personal and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n
    11. Positive attitude, fast-learning, energetic, able to perform in challenging environment;<\/li>\n
    12. Strong team player<\/li>\n
    13. Ability to work in a pressured environment with tight deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
