The PMO Coordinator \/ Project Executive role oversees the administration needs of projects and programs to support overall governance and effective performance management. They are responsible for supporting a common set of best practices, principles and templates for managing programs as well as tracking and reporting on Program health.<\/p>\n<p><b>Major objectives:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>To contribute to the achievement of business plan objectives and the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting the Program team in driving the organization towards:\n<ul>\n<li>interpreting the strategy into targeted initiatives<\/li>\n<li>translating the initiatives into achievable programs and\/or projects<\/li>\n<li>scheduling the portfolio of projects (through an overall program plan)<\/li>\n<li>coordinating information and program \/ project reporting<\/li>\n<li>understanding the impact of overall programs across organization business and operating models<\/li>\n<li>supporting maintenance of Program tools and methodologies.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating PMO processes, systems\/tools and ensuring governance is adhered to and that reporting is actioned by Program\/Project Directors\/Managers<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating PMO activities including coordination of the JIRA and Confluence site, Program Management tools, mailbox, calendar and assisting with development\/delivery of Program learning and development workshops<\/li>\n<li>Assisting the Head of PMO and Head of Delivery in providing support and administrative duties for the PMO office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Background:<\/p>\n<p>The client is integrating a number of MPF platforms by private insurance providers into one digital MPF user interface. This is a privately managed, government funded programme.<\/p>\n<p>Primary responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Monitoring project\u2019s progress, drafting \/ reviewing project progress reports and running risk \/ issue \/ action \/ dependency management processes in relation to the programme, project or initiative following PCCW Solutions\u2019 methodology and best practices;<\/li>\n<li>Developing plans and managing critical paths through understanding of the inter-dependencies between workstreams;<\/li>\n<li>Managing \/ maintaining project assets ensuring documentation is kept up to date and facilitating effective sharing \/ communication;<\/li>\n<li>Providing administrative support for program meetings \u2013 e.g. taking minutes, organise and schedule meetings, preparation of materials and timely distribution;<\/li>\n<li>Identifying strategic decisions to be made by client management; facilitate the communication between all involved stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with the enhancement, implementation and development of project, programme or portfolio management offices;<\/li>\n<li>Providing administrative support for project team, and office administration;<\/li>\n<li>Ad-hoc tasks as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Personal attributes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Bachelor degree, with preference for science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or business.<\/li>\n<li>Working experience of 2 or more years in project delivery either in project management or business analysis roles, preferably from Banking\/ Financial Services\/ Insurance or MNC\u2019s;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Experience working in medium to large size projects \u2013 e.g. project value greater or equal to US$1MM is desirable<\/li>\n<li>Native or near native fluency in written and verbal English, and professional fluency in Chinese (Cantonese)<\/li>\n<li>Understanding and \/ or experience of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE 2 or Agile)<\/li>\n<li>Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment<\/li>\n<li>Professional accreditation in project management or Agile \u2013 e.g. PRINCE 2, PMI CAPM, PMI PMP, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Details:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Period &#8211; \u00a0Expect 24 months<\/li>\n<li>Team &#8211; PD, OPM, several PMs, PMO being set up, large number of BAs and SAs\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Location &#8211; Hong Kong island<\/li>\n<li>Plan &#8211; In place, being reworked in light of significant gap between what is in place and what is required.<\/li>\n<li>Governance &#8211; TBD.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Innovation is a consultancy that delivers change at banks, insurers and investment firms.
