IFRS17 – Test Manager

Contract, Full time

Programme management services for the client to deliver IFRS 17:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for IFRS17 business solution testing management – including solution review, planning and communication of test definition, test execution planning, defect management and test analysis
  • Liaising with business users, consultants, vendors and IT teams (involving local, regional and third-parties) for test delivery
  • Leading the business users to complete end-to-end IFRS17 solution system integration testing – including both functional and end-to-end operational processing test scope
  • Providing on-going advice and support to end-to-end IFRS17 solution user acceptance and performance testing
  • Performing documentations like test management plan, testing specification, test cycle and scenario, test progress, defect analysis reports and test summary reports
  • Assistance to senior management in project & resource planning, and monitoring of project progress
  • Assisting other projects and team management activities when needed

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Studies, or equivalent related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years’ work experience in project-based test management (business / Information Technology), preferably in insurance or finance sectors
  • Solid experience in leading and planning test management
  • Hands-on experience and skills in below aspects is an advantage:
    • Testing Tools, e.g. JIRA, Mantis
    • Azure Cloud, Data Lake and ETL platform
    • IFRS17 standard
    • Life Administration, Finance and Actuarial system platforms
    • PMP and Agile methodology
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese
