Accountant to transition from legacy GL to SAP, Hong Kong

The team wish to bring on board an accountant who has been involved with at least one previous SAP implementation.

The purpose of the role is to identify the attributes for SAP. This will include the design and implementation of a change of ledger systems to SAP. Legacy systems will be transitioned over a number of phases and in different countries.

The client is undergoing other related systems changes with multiple vendors involved. The accountant will be a stakeholder to these changes, identifying the impacts along with SAP implementation.

The SAP implementation scope is

  • Core accounting module
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts received
  • Fixed assets

The right person for this role will be:

  • A qualified accountant.
  • Have depth of knowledge about implementing accounting systems, including SAP.
  • Have insight into best practise for ledger design and management.
  • Will be effective at bringing structure and identifying deliverables.
  • Will be naturally proactive and constructive.

The team would like to bring the accountant on board as soon as possible.

This is a consultancy role; the accountant will be employed for one year by a consultancy for a client.
